My ZD has had only fair repeat, but it has never been grown in good conditions. It has always been in mostly filtered shade from a huge tree that fell on top of it last year. Since then it has been in a prime south facing spot :). It grows next to a honeysuckle vine which gets pruned but is too vigorous to stay in bounds, so ZD gets covered by it somewhat in summer. But honestly, I have got roses with more mildew than ZD.
