Happy Holidays!

It's wet and chilly here, and I have been staying inside much of the time.

A few roses are still blooming, but most blooms are ruined by overnight frosts, wind and rain.

Most of the rose pruning is done, but many other garden chores are still on my list: dormant spraying, weeding, refreshing mulch, propagating, and vine pruning.



We have been busy getting ready for Christmas and meeting up with friends and family.

    Dear Masha, what a wonderful holiday post! Your roses look fantastic even at this time of the year and so do your spectacular photos. I haven't even started to prune my roses yet, but I hope that I will get to it during the holidays, I also hope to plant some new roses and other lovely plants.     Masha, I saw your roses, they are a bit sad! Winter is now...
    But we all have been waiting for Christmas, here is a lot of snow, sledging and skiing around our summer cottage!
